 January 17, 2007, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Representatives from Anderson Brothers Bank today announced the promotion of Ed Horton to Vice President & City Executive of the bank's North Myrtle Beach market. In his role, Horton will direct the operations of Anderson Brothers Bank's office in North Myrtle Beach as well as its new branch scheduled to open in the Long's community in late February. Horton is based in the North Myrtle Beach branch located at 1799 Highway 17 South.
Horton joined Anderson Brothers Bank in 2005 as Business Development Officer in the North Myrtle Beach market, and he brought with him a wealth of experience in commercial banking and real estate lending. In addition, Horton has extensive experience as a licensed real estate appraiser and consultant, specializing in waterfront property development and construction. Prior to joining Anderson Brothers Bank, Horton was the managing partner of Crickett Cove Marina where he was instrumental in the development of the property.
As a resident of North Myrtle Beach, Horton has demonstrated exemplary contributions in serving his community. He was recently elected Chairman of the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and is Past President of the Little River Rotary Club. In addition, Horton's service includes the duties of Vice President of Church Council for the Member of King of Glory Lutheran Church.
