Love Automotive Group Marks ABB's 200th Auto Dealer
August 6, 2010 - ABB's Dealer Services division announces its affiliation with the Love Automotive Group, signifying a milestone as the bank's 200th automobile dealer partnership.  ABB's Dealer Services division offers convenient on-the-lot financing options to automobile dealers and their customers in 25 counties throughout South Carolina and North Carolina.    

Anderson Brothers Bank launched its Dealer Services division in 1998 and established a niche in the nonprime indirect auto finance business.  In late 2009 the bank decided to expand its Dealer Services division by carefully selecting 25 new dealer partners in adjacent markets.  "We embarked on a growth strategy to increase our market reach by expanding west to Columbia and south to the Charleston area," said Micky Watts, the bank's VP of Dealer Services.  "The reception from dealers has been overwhelming, and the growth has exceeded our expectations, even requiring additions to our staff."  ABB's Dealer Services department includes a staff of 12, each with considerable experience in auto financing throughout eastern South Carolina.

"Their team of lenders are local and clearly understand the industry and the needs of customer within this market," said Edward August, General Manager of Love Automotive in Florence.  "They are interested in our customers and not just in numbers, and they employ this approach as they make their lending decisions.  We look forward to a long-term relationship with Anderson Brothers Bank."  Love Automotive was established in 1961 and currently has five locations reaching from Columbia, Florence and Myrtle Beach.
