Checking Navigator is an education tool Anderson Brothers Bank provides to help manage your finances to avoid overdrafts or returned checks.
With ABB’s Overdraft Privilege service, as long as you maintain your account in “good standing,” we may approve your overdraft items within your current available Overdraft Privilege limit as a non-contractual courtesy, as long as you maintain your account in “good standing” as disclosed in Overdraft Privilege policy.
Here’s how it works…you will be charged ABB’s overdraft fee of $25 (change to $28 effective March 1, 2014) for each overdrawn item and additional fees may apply for business accounts. This overdraft fee is imposed on transactions created by traditional paper-based checks, in-person withdrawals, automatic payment (ACH) transactions, bill payment or recurring debit card payments and any other transactions made using your checking account number, for personal accounts. ATM and everyday debit card transactions are available in program upon request for personal accounts. ABB may refuse to pay an overdraft item at any time even though we may have previously paid overdrafts for you. For example, we typically do not pay overdraft items if you are not making regular deposits to bring your account to a positive end-of-day balance at least once every 30 calendar days, you are using Overdraft Privilege excessively or you have legal orders, levies or liens against your account.
You should make every attempt to bring your account balance to a positive end-of-day balance as soon as possible, and must do so within 30 calendar days.
