eBanking Frequently Asked Questions
We will mail you a welcome letter within two business days of receiving your application. This letter will have your 12-digit ABB eBanking ID (which you can change later if you choose) and basic instructions. You will receive a separate letter containing your password.
Customers are enrolled in ABB eBanking based on their Social Security Number. Joint account holders are required to have two ABB eBanking IDs, one in each account holder's name. That way, there aren't any problems when either of you need assistance. Even if your spouse is listed as a joint owner on all your ABB eBanking accounts, they can't make any changes to the online ID in your name. If your spouse contacts us for help with your ID or password, we cannot give any information to him/her. You will need to call us to unlock your account, reset your password, etc.
No special software is needed. All you need is a computer with Internet access and connection and an Internet browser. Proper browsers include: Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), Version 7.0 - 8.0; Firefox, Version 3 and higher; and Safari version 1.0 and higher.
For questions about ABB eBanking, feel free to contact us. For questions on how to download your particular browser, we recommend you contact your Internet service provider.
Your account locks after three invalid password attempts and remains locked until you reset your password. This can be done by contacting us. Simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-843-464-3503 or 1-888-668-7533 and we’ll reset your password for you. You will receive a notice via email letting you know the account has locked; if you call us before you get the email simply disregard the message.
